We’re advising our clients who are registered for VAT to be aware that HMRC is clamping down on VAT submission and payment deadlines.
If you haven’t submitted or paid your return before the deadline, it’s likely that HMRC will send out increasingly strict letters urging you to do so.
The deadline for filing and paying your VAT return is unique to your accounting period. You can find out everything you need to know about when and how to submit your return on the gov.uk website.
If you’re a VAT-registered business, it’s a good idea to submit your return and make payment in good time to avoid receiving a penalty.
If we do your return for you, please provide your records as soon as you can so we can complete your VAT submission with plenty of time to spare.
If you have any questions or concerns about your VAT payments, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with PKB and we’ll be happy to help.
